The Sims Wiki contains a number of 'official' or alternative track names for many of the tracks in the collection, however, some have never been given names as they have never been released officially. Various tracks do not have official names or artists.As pointed out in the comments, the credits state that these versions were performed by a string quartet so sourcing them will be difficult. These are well known Classical pieces, however, I believe that they may have been specifically recorded for the game or taken from a music sample CD that I have been unable to source. Discs 6 to 16 focus on the Simlish music played via the different radio stations and speakers in game. Discs 1 to 5 focus on Neighborhood, Build & Buy music from each game which included new music for these modes. I have attempted to categorize each of the 'discs' for easier visibility and listenability. I have posted some issues with the collection in a section further down. While currently I am happy with the current status of the collection, I would love some of you fellow Simmers out there to help build this like a mini community project. For example, The Sims Original Soundtrack is missing a good chunk of tracks that appear in game. There are a number of 'The Sims' soundtrack albums released by EA over the years, and they contain some nice quality versions of the tracks however their content is significantly scarce.

It came to light very early on that most of the tracks in the original PC release of The Sims have been compressed to all hell but thankfully later releases solved this problem. This essentially came about in the search for a similar collection online which, at least from my findings, does not exist. Welcome to my little passion project of compiling together a complete collection of music from The Sims and its various expansions.
